We brought Misty to Laura kennels when she was about eight months old.   We had high hopes for her since she was bred by Lemuel  Miller from Joshua Kennels. We also knew her pedigree (Josh / Sheba)  and knew that she was sound in both temperament and conformation.   We had a preliminary x-ray taken of her hips (as we do on all of our breeding stock) and the report was not what we wanted to hear.  The  Vet said she was border line fair but did not think she would pass an OFA certification.  There was no sign of dysplasia but her joints were very loose.  We were so very disappointed because in every other way she was such a wonderful animal.  We made a decision to mega-dose Misty for the next several months on Prevention and have her x-rayed once again.  Since Misty was such a great dog in every other way we wanted to do all we could to keep her in our breeding program.  Well, guess what!  After several months on Prevention we once again had Misty x-rayed.  This time the hips were much tighter and the Vet was very encouraging.  We have just received confirmation that Misty is now OFA GOOD! !!!!

I want to tell you that in the beginning, we were as skeptical as anyone else about this product called Prevention.  Lem Miller is our cousin and we have watched what he has done for these bulldogs for a long time.  We wanted to believe what he was saying but when he told us this product could make the difference for these dogs, we just had to wonder if it was possible.  We decided that we would implement its use into our program……if nothing else, it would be a good supplement…..and oh well, what could it hurt?  It was inexpensive and easy to use.  After two years  of daily use at our kennel, we have received two OFA Excellent and two OFA Good reports.  This has made believers out of us.  This miracle we have seen with our own eyes and proven for ourselves.
